The De Soto cross country team traveled to Lawrence, along with athletes representing over 140 teams from across the Midwest, for the Rim Rock Farm Classic Friday and Saturday. Both the varsity girls and boys teams took first place, with their top-five runners each finishing in the top-15 individually. The De Soto high school cross country team started the 2019 season Saturday at the Greg Wilson Classic. The Wildcats competed against almost 20 area teams from both Kansas and Missouri.
