The Varsity Boys Bowling team traveled to Gage Bowl to compete in the 2021 United Kansas Conference Championship meet on Friday, February 19th, 2021. The Wildcats bowled against the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats, Lansing Lions, Leavenworth Pioneers, Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds, and the Turner Golden Bears. The Varsity boys claimed the 2021 United Kansas Conference for the second consecutive season and brought home the UKC Trophy! During the first round of Baker Bowling, the boys built on each other’s momentum and bowled at perfect game, knocking down all 300 pins! Four team members placed in the top 12. Placing 7th overall, Antonio Miranda with 585 pins, Rob Ramsey takes 4th place with 596 pins, Collin Bode places 3rd with 606 pins, and Captain Colby Lovegren places 2nd overall with 627 pins. The Wildcats will look to keep their momentum going at next week’s Regional Tournament at Olathe East Lanes on Friday, February 26th.
