Below is important information regarding Athletics for the 2019-20 school year.
  • Fall Sports Practices begin on Monday, August 19th, 2019
    • Concussion Tutorials: will be held on the following dates for any individual participating in athletics. Student-athletes need to attend a concussion tutorial as it is a KSHSAA requirement before practice is allowed.
      • Friday, August 9th – 3:00pm – Commons
      • Monday, August 12th – 3:00pm – Commons
      • Tuesday, August 13th – 3:00pm – Commons
    • Athletic Registration: Students and parents both need to complete their portion of the Athletic Participation Registration process within Skyward and have a physical completed by a licensed physician on file with the Athletic Department before students may participate in try-outs, practices, and/or competitions. 2019-20 physicals must be dated post May 1st.   • All Sports Information Night will be on Thursday, August 15th, 2019 at 7:00pm
    • This meeting is designed to present parents with all necessary information from the Athletic Department. If you have a student that will be participating in any sport (Fall, Winter, Spring) you should plan to attend.
    • Meeting will begin at 7:00pm in the DHS Main Gym with a presentation from the Athletic Department.
    • Fall Sports Parent Meetings will begin at the conclusion of the Athletic Department presentation.

  • All Sports Passes
    • We will once again be offering an All Sports Passes to our DHS Families. Gate prices are $5 for Adults and $3 for Students. Students who pay their Activity Fee and have a Wildcat logo on their student ID will not have to pay at DHS events when presenting their ID card.
    • All Sports Pass order form: 2019-20 DHS All Sports Pass. Just fill it out and mail it with your check to DHS or drop it by the office.
  • Senior Ads for Sports Programs
    • We do a Fall, Winter and Spring Sports Program and include the opportunity for Senior Families to place an ad for their Senior within their seasonal program.

  • Business Sponsors
    • We are always looking to form partnerships with local businesses. If you have a company or business that might be interested please check out the attached information regarding Business Sponsorship Opportunities.
    • The funds raised from our Business Sponsors have helped many of our programs offset the costs of needs for their programs.
    • We are doing our best to finalize our 2019-20 Business Sponsors
