Girls Varsity Soccer · Regional Girls Soccer

The De Soto High School Varsity Girls Soccer team has completed the regular season with an overall record of 14-1-1 and earned the 2019 United Kansas Conference Championship with an undefeated record of 10-0. The Wildcats are now setting their eyes on making a deep run into the post season. The Wildcats will enter the KSHSAA Class 5A Northeast Regional as the overall #1 Seed out of 17 schools. They will host a Regional Semi-Final game at De Soto High School at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 14th and will play the winner of the Lansing (16) vs. Washington (17) play in game, which is played on Monday, May 13th. A win on Tuesday over Lansing/Washington would advance the Wildcats to a Regional Championship game in which they would host the winner of the Seaman (8) vs. Basehor-Linwood (9) semi-final game. The Regional Championship game date and time will depend on who wins between Seaman/Basehor-Linwood. A Seaman win would put the game on Thursday and a Basehor-Linwood win would more than likely move the game to Friday due to the Bobcat’s graduation. The Wildcats will need to take care of business on Tuesday as it now the postseason and you must win to advance! Good Luck Wildcats!
